A New dawn is here..

Image
Wow! It’s here, February I mean. A month gone already! Or should I say 31 days? Or 744 hours? Can you remember how you felt on the first day in the year? I’m talking about the hopes, optimism, belief, drive, positivity, aspirations? Can you compare it with how you feel after over 44,640 seconds? Has it waned? Is it more intense? What changed? Can you still remember your goals for the year? Life, health, academic, family, travel, spiritual, career, What about your deal breakers? And those things you promised to stop? How has it been so far? Do an honest check! Many things have happened in the little space of 2020, I’ve seen the good; I’ve seen the not too good Maybe things were just a continuation of the year before, or perhaps the earth knows for herself she’s in a new decade? Anything different yet from how things were? Does the year difference count for anything except for age? Is the year indeed pregnant? Or we are just getting to s...

Increase Your Brand Awareness 1.      Partner with other brands When just starting out, this can propel your brand faster and easier. Work on partnerships with similar or complementary values and identity. 2.      Use Infographics: Everyone loves infographics. 90% of the information transmitted to the human brain is transmitted visually and according to research studies we process images 60,000 times faster than we process texts( except its credit alert of course!) So using captioned images is a great way to communicate information very quickly. There are platforms that help with designing quality infographics like;           Canva.com           Piktochart.com           Visme.com Promote your ideas and info to your target audience by making use of these platforms. If you are devel...

You have ideas?

Image
It was hot in one of the last days in 2018 and the air tasted bitter, I was on my way to Akure to sort out my clearance. On the previous day, I had just voiced my ideas in passing with Ojo Daniel. I remember sitting in the Car as the hot air brushed my skin and talking to God that I really wanted to see this idea through. Practically, I had no foreknowledge (experience wise) in this industry, during my undergraduate days I was into construction of buildings and interior design for Houses and offices. I had a well painted picture of how I’ll like to put it out, some little theoretical know how and knew no one! I can still remember how humble I was that day talking to God about it. I could feel beyond the fact that I was seated that he heard me. In two days, I was back from my trip. I got a ‘hardcover’ notebook and started writing all of this idea in it. You would have thought the company was in business already. I remember on different occasions, I’ll talk with my Pasto...

So, what do you need to know about picking a name? 1.      Select what type of name you want? There are 7 different categories of names and every brand in the world falls within any of them.                                  i.             Eponymous: These names embody the belief of the founder. Brand Awareness

Image
In branding, there’s something known as the 3R’s. They are: - Recognize - Remember - Revere Do people, visitors, customers, prospects, know you exist? What do users know about your brand? When people come across your brand, do they recognize that it’s you? Like; - Do they recognize your name? - Can they identify your color pattern, logo, brand ID, product, service, Ads, content? I want you to ask yourself these questions. Answer it within you and keep the answer to heart as I take you through this! Having great brand awareness is people having a deeper familiarity with your product, your services, your brand design, the history, it’s goals etc. It can teach you things like the effectiveness of your brand design, marketing, how people receive you, how you differ from your competition, how well can they differentiate you? So what are the things you can do to increase your brand awareness? I’ll be sharing 5 things you can do.

Too much for a title!

Image
I don’t have a title again, hope it doesn’t become regular Pardon me please. 😃😃 Have you noticed this? I have overtime seen the way people get to cross the road. When it’s a bike, there’s a way people stylishly catwalk and cross even when it’s already close! “It’s just a bike, not so!” They say in their mind Even for a Car, bus or van, there’s a way people still find a way to stylishly catwalk when crossing the road at the sight of these vehicles. You know what I’ve not seen? I’ve not seen people catwalk at the sight of a trailer! Even from afar, people run past for the fear (reverence) of it. Even a mad man wouldn’t dare! Funnily, I remember when my mum used to drive back then, at the sight of a trailer, she’ll stop and park at the sight of a trailer until it passes through. Levels! Heavy duty vehicles command such respect!   What am I trying to point out? This is the same with ‘heavy weights’ in various industries across the wo...

...Shoot!

I don’t think I have a good title for this, but it’s worth your read. How Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have dominated the football space for the past 12 years is something we may not see in a long while again. Albeit, I have overtime observed that when I go through their stats at the end of a season campaign, I realize that while they might have ended top scorers in different competitions, the background stat behind that feat is always identical, year in year out! What stat exactly? It’s the stat for ‘Shots on goal’ Both of them average over 170 attempts at goal during the course of a league campaign that spans over 8 months for 38 matches. Guess what? The best anyone of them could muster is 50 goals! (And that’s lionel Messi ) in the 2013/14 La Liga season. My love for this short man!  😍 Okay, back to the point. That’s 50 goals out of over 170 attempts! On a success rate mathematically, that’s a 29.4% success rate. It doesn’t seem too impressive stat...
